This dynamic position involves a combination of childcare, transportation, meal preparation, and light household duties. Responsibilities: School Drop-Off and Pick-Up: Safely transport children to and from school, ensuring punctuality and adherence to safety protocols. Establish positive and supportive relationships with parents during drop-offs and pick-ups. Before School Care: Create a welcoming and engaging environment for children before school hours. Organize age-appropriate activities to stimulate mental and physical well-being. After School Care: Supervise children after school, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere. Assist with homework, providing guidance and support as needed. After School Activities: Coordinate and facilitate various after-school activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and educational games. Encourage participation and skill development in extracurricular pursuits. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious snacks and meals for children, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences. Ensure a variety of healthy food options are available. Bathing and Personal Care: Assist younger children with bathing and personal care routines as needed. Encourage independence while providing necessary support. Light Household Duties: Perform light household duties to maintain a clean and organized environment. Involve children in age-appropriate chores to foster responsibility. Homework Assistance: Provide dedicated time and support for children to complete homework assignments. Communicate with teachers or parents regarding any academic concerns or progress. Communication with Parents: Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding daily activities, achievements, and any concerns. Collaborate with parents to align care practices and expectations. Safety and Well-being: Prioritize the safety, well-being, and emotional development of each child. Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures as needed. Organizational Skills: Plan and organize daily schedules, ensuring a balance between structured activities and free play. Effectively manage transitions between activities and responsibilities.
